Fifteen years of unhurried medicine.
Dr Kanchan Kaur, MBBS BSc MRCGP DFSRH. A GP partner turned private practitioner, with a clinical interest in menopause that became a specialism.
A clinician, not a brand.
Dr Kaur graduated from King's College London in 2011 and qualified as a GP in 2017. Over more than fifteen years across the NHS and, more recently, private practice, she has built the experience and confidence to offer a genuinely personal, holistic approach to care. She still works in the NHS, and knows exactly where the system runs out of time and where private care can ethically fill the gap.
She became a diplomate of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare in 2017. In 2024 she completed Newson Health's Confidence in Menopause course, followed by the British Menopause Society's Management of the Menopause certificate in 2026. She keeps her list deliberately small, so every patient is seen by her.
A mother of two with ageing parents and a demanding career, she understands how life can pull you in every direction at once. She is acutely aware of the gender health gap and the disparities faced by women from ethnic minority communities, and has worked closely with minority ethnic women to recognise menopausal symptoms and navigate cultural expectations.
Three things every appointment will be.
The principles below aren't marketing. They're the operating rules of the practice, and the reason consultations run to 45 minutes rather than ten.
Unhurried
Time is the most important clinical tool. Forty-five minutes is the floor, not the ceiling, and follow-ups are built into your fee, not billed by the minute.
Evidence-led
Recommendations are grounded in the most current NICE, BMS and royal college guidance, not wellness trends. Where the evidence is uncertain, you'll be told.
Joined-up
Every consultation ends with a written plan you can share with your own NHS GP, partner, or family, so care continues outside the room.
